Our Investment Strategy: LIHTC Affordable Housing

Tralee Affordable, LLC ("Tralee") is one of the nations premier LIHTC, multi-family housing investment firms. We focus on finding assets in extremely supply constrained markets which allows us to take advantage of the disconnect between LIHTC rents and market rate rents.  This optimizes overall investor return at the eventual sale. 

 
An affiliate of Tralee is the principal investor in each transaction. Additionally, the leadership team of Tralee personally invest in each transaction along side our equity partners.
 
Tralee and its affiliates have been acquiring well located, highly supply constrained affordable assets since 2013. Due to our rigid standards, we evaluate and underwrite less than 15% of the affordable assets that come onto the market. We use an active, institutional approach to acquisitions, property management and asset management.
 
Our goal is to own and operate the best long-term assets that will either become highly desirable market rate properties or long-term, properly financed LIHTC cash-flow properties. We manage all of our LIHTC properties as if they were conventional, class A, market-rate assets. Because of our asset management strategy, our properties have extremely low turnover.
 
Since it's founding in 2013, Tralee has closed on numerous LIHTC properties. Tralee continues to aggressively look for the next acquisition that fits its extremely high standards.
 
The leadership team of Tralee have transacted, closed, and asset managed an excess of $6 billion over the course of their respective careers, in most major markets and sub-markets in the US.
